Dr. Sarat Chandra Pingali is a Additional Director Surgical Oncologist, Robotic and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon with over 19 years of experience in managing complex cancer cases. He specializes in treating cancers of the breast, head and neck (including thyroid), gastrointestinal tract, thoracic organs, gynecologic organs (uterus, ovaries), bones, and soft tissues. He is especially skilled in minimally invasive cancer surgeries including advanced laparoscopic and robotic techniques.
He has been the recipient of multiple academic honors including a University Medal in General Surgery, Swarnnathan Prize in Anatomy, and University Prize in Social and Preventive Medicine.
