About Athira

Athira – Global Centre for Cancer Care, Precision Genomics & Blood Disorders is a dedicated centre providing comprehensive oncology and hematology care. We bring medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, hemato-oncology, psycho-oncology and supportive care together to provide coordinated care for patients and their families.

Every patient and every cancer is different. Founder

Founded by Dr. Niti Raizada

Dr. Niti Raizada

Athira was founded by Dr. Niti Raizada, one of India's leading medical oncologists and hemato-oncologists, with more than 24 years of experience treating cancers and blood disorders.

Over her career, Dr. Niti has treated patients across all age groups, from breast, lung, gastrointestinal, gynecological and genito-urinary cancers to leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. She has worked extensively in bone marrow and stem cell transplantation and has led clinical trials of new cancer medicines. She is a Gold Medalist and a recipient of the President of India Award, and is Chief Trustee of the National Research Network & Cancer Foundation, which supports cancer research and care for underprivileged patients.

Athira grew from a simple belief she has carried throughout her practice: world-class cancer care should be personal, evidence-based and within reach of every family in Bengaluru.
